Welcome to the HSBC 2012
Now in its third year, the HSBC promises to be an even bigger, better event with three formats to provide a competition for everyone.
HSBC 4FUN is aimed at first time competitors, juniors, club climbers and those who don’t want too much pressure with their climbing. Problems will be in the range of V0 to V5.
HSBC PLUS is new this year and provides a harder competition for the more serious club climbers. Problems will range from V2 to V7 no doubt with the odd curve ball thrown in to keep everyone on their toes!
Both the 4FUN and PLUS competitions will comprise of 15 problems and scores will accumulate over 5 rounds. There will be gear prizes at each round and some bigger Series prizes for the winners in each category, including a fully expensed trip to Fontainebleau!
There will also be a SHOOT-OUT for the top 3 from the Adult Male/Female category at the end of each round for some additional spot prizes.
HSBC Open: Unfortunately die to circumstances beyond our control surrounding the opening of the new High Sports Plymouth Climbing Centre, we have had to postpone this event. More details to follow once we are able to re-schedule it and it will advertise it here.
