For the first time, High Sports will be sponsoring two professional climbers in 2011/12 and, after much discussion, we are delighted to welcome Jon Partridge and Yann Genoux on board.
Both are based in London/South East so will be able to attend our sites on a regular basis. They each offer a very different outlook on climbing with Jon, as a British Bouldering Team member, hugely focused on World Cup rounds and Yann, who is one of the best route setters in the UK, intent on bagging some major sport routes in Europe.
Take a look at their profiles to learn more about them and see the Events Calendar to see when and where you can meet them.
You can keep up to date with what they are up to via their Blog and Twitter feeds on this page.

Munich World Cup News
I recently got back from the final round of the 2011 Boulder World Cup Circuit in Munich.
It was an amazing but very frustrating event as I finished 23rd out of 70 odd and missed out on the semi final by the slightest of margins.
10 people from each group qualify for the semi
I finished 11th in my group (So 23rd overall out of 70ish)
I did all 5 blocs in 8 attempts
You needed to do 5 blocs in 7 attempts.
I made three slips which were pretty much out of my control (Foot pops etc).
Had I made one less error I would have been in 7th in my group as I flashed all five bonuses.
It literally could not get any closer.
Anyway it was a super fun event with a great end of season party
I got some good world cup points which has improved my overall world ranking too. I am now 40th.
