Junior Squad Training
Our Junior Climbing Squad is for developing juniors with a real love for climbing who want to continue to improve their ability and make this their sport.
To be part of the High Sports Squad, juniors need only have real enthusiasm for climbing, a moderate ability for their age, and a mature attitude towards training.*
Squad narrows its focus to the purely athletic aspects of the sport. Our professional coaches teach young climbers about movement technique, endurance, and how to train strength and power. Squad is the perfect springboard for ambitious juniors ready to enter the world of competition climbing and Squad members are given competition support and training materials.
*We believe two climbing sessions per week are the minimum for continued athletic improvement. Therefore, in addition to a weekly Squad session Squad members are expected to also attend at least one Junior Rock Club session per week.
