Experienced Climbers.

We’ve got everything a climber needs to make the most out of this amazing sport and enjoy their experience. Whether it’s regular sessions, training, improving technique, increasing the skillset, meeting other climbers in the community or getting the gear that you need.

High Sports has dedicated areas for bouldering, auto belays, rope climbing and training (including the latest Tension Board 2 and a large spray wall), alongside a shop and work/seating area. We hold weekly socials, host multiple clubs, provide regular workshops, courses and coaching and route set both bouldering and roped climbs weekly.

  • Bouldering

At High Sports we have over 75 individual boulder problems spread accross 2 areas.

There is a new set weekly meanining there is always something new to try. The setting team is the same as at Volume 1 Climbing so you can expect a high quality of interesting, challenging and fun problems.

Our downstairs bouldering area has a great mix of boulder problems, whilst our upstairs mezzanine area is focused more towards harder problems and training.

Our training area has a great selection of equipment including woody, finger boards, and a range of other training equipment.

If you just want to boulder and not use the ropes then this is not a problem, just click HERE for more information on registration.

  • Auto Belays

We have 9 auto belay lines in total at High Sports. 5 of these are in our ‘RockBox’ area and designed for our mini climbers (4+ yrs). The other 4 lines have 4 routes each with a large range in difficulty, resulting in 16 auto belay routes available for adults.

The regular setting allows for a great variety in climbing styles, challenges and possibilities!

Same as with the experienced boulderer, you will need to register and fill out an Acknowledgment of Risk form before climbing. You will be asked to answer some quick test questions on arrival just to double check your knowledge.

If you are not experienced with auto belays you can take our half hour Auto Belay Induction to get you up to speed.

  • Roped Climbing

The centre has 50 roped lines reaching up to 13m with a mixture of Lead, Top Rope and Auto Belays.

We cater for beginners right through to seasoned climbers with grades from f3 - f8a+ and everything in between.

If you are an experienced climber and can pass our safety test there is no need to book, but we recommend filling out our Acknowledgement of Risk form in advance to speed up your checking in time.
