Home Ed Taster Sessions

To help your kids learn if our home ed clubs are something that they would be interested in joining weekly, we are running taster sessions during March for you to book a one off session to experience what the clubs will be like. These sessions will include lots of climbing as well as plenty of opportunities for you and your kids to ask questions about how the clubs will run.

Price: £19 per person

Age: We have 2 sessions available depending on the age of your child. 4 - 8 and 8 - 14. Due to instructor ratios we are unable to mix these groups.

Weekly Home Ed Clubs

Starting in April our New Home Ed NICAS (National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme) clubs are structured, weekly lessons for ages 4+ aimed at developing climbers’ skills & techniques in a fun, social & safe environment.

Pricing

Our Home Ed sessions are £76 per month and billed at the start of each month on a recurring membership. The clubs run all the way throguh the year, even in the Summer months which really helps the kids progress through the levels.

Levels

Level 1 & 2 focus on developing beginners into competent climbers with a focus on safety, rules and basic movement.
Level 3 takes those skills and builds on them by exposing candidates to advanced techniques as well as exploring the history and ethics of climbing. By passing level 3 candidates will have met the standard equivalent to a pass at GCSE level.
Upon reaching Level 4, climbers will be introduced to ‘Lead Climbing’ and will learn everything from clipping to rope management and advanced belaying techniques. A pass at level 4 is equivalent to an A Level pass.

Club Days

Age 4 - 8: Tuesday 3pm or Friday 3pm

Age 8 - 14: Tuesday 2.45pm or Wednesday: 2.15pm

As these sessions fill up we will look to scheule additional club days for the future.
